Gentle Annie track is probably one of the most popular day and overnight tramps in the lower North Island. It took 12 days climbing the Gentle Annie track and back, for our team to complete recutting this track. Seven GWBN members and 4 local DOC rangers spent 230 hours clearing regrowth and widening the track back to the original width.
