exNZFS chaps John McCann, Ryan Mollier and Sandy Allan went in to Alpha hut over the weekend, to do a long overdue relocation of the toilet. A new deck was flown in by Jason Diedrichs (JD) of Amalgamated Helicopters. The team had the unsavoury task of uplifting the Norski toilet to a new site.
The move had become urgent, and was funded by the Tararua Aorangi Remutaka Huts Committee Inc (TARHC)
